The Woodcraft tractor log splitter is a hydraulic log splitter for splitting round timber and firewood, powered via the tractor hydraulics. Connection is made using two hydraulic hoses with quick couplings to the tractor’s hydraulic system, allowing use in the field or on the yard without dependence on mains electricity.

With a splitting force of 14 ton, this log splitting machine is suitable for splitting logs with a diameter of 150 to 400 mm and a length of 400 to 610 mm. This log splitter complies with NEN-EN 609-1:2017, the applicable safety standard for wedge splitters. Horizontal operation is intended for splitting round timber in a lying position, with the wood fed and split in line with the splitting direction.

Two-hand control is applied as a safety function: the splitting movement is only activated when both hands remain on the controls. This keeps hands outside the splitting zone during operation and ensures direct control, reducing the risk of unintended activation.
