The Woodcraft petrol log splitter 12 ton is a hydraulic log splitter for splitting wood with a petrol engine drive. Suitable for use in the yard, at wood storage areas or at a sawing and splitting location where no fixed mains electricity is available, for processing firewood and round timber.

With a splitting force of 12 ton, this log splitting machine is intended for logs with a diameter of 140 to 280 mm and lengths of 350 to 540 mm. The log splitter operates horizontally for splitting round timber in a lying position, with the wood fed and split in line with the splitting direction.

Two-hand control is applied as a safety function: the splitting stroke is only activated when both hands remain on the controls. This keeps hands outside the splitting zone during operation and ensures the stroke is deliberately controlled. Complies with NEN-EN 609-1:2017, the safety standard for wedge splitters, requirements for guarding and controls.
